Delivery and Ordering

Please note special messaging shown on the Announcement Bar (found at the top our website) supersedes any information stated below.

Update: 27/10/2025 we cannot offer local delivery (Napier/Hastings) due to our driver operating at capacity. Pick up is available form our store. This includes regular orders and Christmas pre-orders.

Ordering Cut Off Time

Our Cut Off time for online orders is 9am Monday - Friday for same-day dispatch. If you order after 9am your order will roll over to the next available dispatch day. We do not fulfil orders on weekends or public holidays.

Delivery and Courier

We offer delivery NZ wide with New Zealand Couriers but we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Please ensure an accurate and complete delivery address details are provided with your order as we will not be responsible if your order is subsequently delayed by couriers due to inaccurate or incorrect delivery address details.

Why can’t you ship to rural addresses?

We strongly advise against delivery to Rural/Non-urban addresses due to extended delivery time-frames (anywhere between 1 - 3+ days), the service is partially untracked and uninsured. All of which is not ideal for perishable seafood products.

If your address is rural we suggest you find your nearest courier drop off point, use this tool to find a drop off point. Or use a friend/family member or work address that is not rural, you can use this tool to check the status of an address.

If you wish to proceed with delivery to a rural/non-urban address, it would be at your risk.

Saturday Delivery

We offer Saturday delivery when you order before 9am on Friday. However please ensure your order is applicable for Saturday Delivery, Use this tool to check your address. If your address is not serviced on Saturday, we’ll dispatch your order on Monday.

Tracking Notifications

We will provide a tracking number to the email address supplied as confirmation of the dispatch of your order - this is usually sent automatically around 4pm the day of dispatch. Txt notifications will also be enabled if you have provided a valid mobile number. Please check the delivery details are correct and advise us immediately if incorrect.

Authority To Leave

Our courier service operate on an “Authority To Leave” basis, meaning if the recipient is not home, the parcel will be left in a safe spot rather being returned to depot. When ordering, please consider the perishable/edible nature of our products and leave instructions for the courier to leave your order in a cool and safe location if no one will be at home when delivery is made.

Delivery Timing

NZ Couriers allow delivery until the end of the day for residential addresses, whereas metro/business zone addresses have a target delivery time of 9.30am.
Please note couriers are not able to provide an ‘on-demand or specific delivery time service’. For queries regarding and ETD of your parcel once dispatched, please contact NZ Couriers directly. Find your nearest branch here.

Local Delivery (Napier/Hastings only)

Local deliveries are slotted in with our pre-existing local delivery run so we are unable to provide an estimated time of delivery. As this service is provided by our own driver, there are no tracking details. We offer delivery Monday-Friday, the 9am cut off for ordering still applies. EG: order at 8am, receive it same-day. Order at 1pm, it will be delivered the following working day. We do not fulfil orders on weekends.
Note: The local delivery option will only appear when a valid address and postcode is entered.

Pick Up

Pick up is available Monday-Friday after 3pm. Pick up location from our shop located at 1005 Karamu Road North, Hastings. Again, keeping in mind we have a 9am cut-off time for ordering. Note: we do not send ready-for-collection notifications.

Pre-Ordering

We do not offer pre-ordering or advance ordering for the reason we cannot hold perishable product. All orders are for immediate dispatch. We periodically offer pre-ordering on seasonal or special items EG. Christmas Pre-Order.
