• Once your pre-order is placed, we’ll pick, pack and schedule it for delivery or pick up on your chosen date.

• Courier Tracking details are emailed the afternoon of dispatch date (The day before your selected delivery date).

• If you provided a mobile number, you’ll also receive txt updates when your order is collected and out for delivery and delivered.

We sometimes mark orders as “fulfilled” earlier for internal processing.
This doesn’t mean it has been dispatched - your actual delivery date remains as selected/agreed.
You’ll receive your tracking notification email once the order has physically left our facility

• We can’t guarantee an exact delivery time as courier schedules vary by region.

• For courier orders, you’ll receive tracking updates as your parcel progresses: Collected → Out for delivery → Delivered.

• For estimated delivery times after dispatch, please contact your local NZ Couriers branch using your tracking number.

• Saturday 20 December Deliveries: Check that your address is eligible for Saturday service before selecting this date.

• Important: Local delivery is not available for Christmas pre-orders as our team will be stretched to capacity - courier and pick up only.

• Orders for collection will be ready between 10 am – 5 pm on your chosen date.

• We don’t send pick-up notification emails, so simply arrive on your selected day.

• All pick-ups are from our warehouse located at 304 Jervois Street, Hastings, not the retail shop.

• Orders will not be held in store.

• If your order includes items outside of the Christmas pre-order range, those items will not be shipped separately.

• In this case, your full order will either need to be dispatched immediately or cancelled, then you can re-order from the Christmas range.

• We’ll always try to contact you first, but during peak season this may not be possible before the decision is made.

• To avoid delays or cancellations, please ensure only Christmas pre-order products are added to your order.

• Where a specific (non-generic) Kina or Oyster product outside of the Christmas pre-order range is ordered for Christmas pre-order, we will substitute/supply with the freshest available generic option at the time of dispatch. See product descriptions: XMAS Kina, XMAS Oysters for explanation.

• Last day to place a Christmas pre-order: Sunday 14 December (subject to change).

• Our final dispatch date is: Tuesday 23 December (Very limited slots)

• To avoid potential courier delays, we strongly advise choosing an earlier delivery date and freezing your seafood on arrival.

• Frozen seafood thaws beautifully overnight in the fridge - so selecting delivery for Tuesday 23 or prior is a safe choice.

• Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24 December) delivery slots are limited and should only be chosen if necessary.

• During our busiest period, response times may not be as quick as usual - we appreciate your patience.

Christmas Orders

• Last day to place orders: Tuesday 14 December 2025 (This may change)

• Final dispatch day: Tuesday 23 December 2025

• Tip: To avoid courier delays, select an earlier delivery date (Saturday 20 or Tuesday 23) and freeze your seafood on arrival.

New Year Orders

• Ordering reopens Saturday 27 December 2025. For dispatch on Monday 29 December.

• Place orders between Saturday 27 - Tuesday 30 December (by 9 am) for delivery on Wednesday 31 December 2025.

After New Year

• Online orders close Wednesday 31 December 2025.

• Reopen Saturday 3 January 2026 for dispatch starting Monday 5 January 2026.
