Whitebait is a tiny fish with a massive reputation! Whitebait is regarded as one of New Zealand’s most prized seafood delicacies.

Fresh Oysters (Half Shell + Live)
Live Greenshell Mussels are not only fresh and delicious but also brimming with nutritional benefits. Not only are Mussels low in fat, calories and cholesterol but just 10 medium sized mussels contributes to 50% of Female RDI of iron and zinc. They are also a great source of protein, omega-3, selenium, magnesium and iodine.
Studies suggest a correlation between regular consumption of Mussels has shown to decrease cartilage degradation of induced metabolic osteoarthritis. Read about it here.
As naturally farmed mussels, variance in colour and flavour will occur throughout the year as with all fresh seafood.
Live In The Shell | Sold loose by the kilogram (1KG)
If the Mussels are open this is usually a result of either the mussel getting too cold, or the mussel has relaxed and is looking for food. The basic test is to take out the gaping mussel and leave on the bench for a couple of minutes, or just gently tap. If the mussel starts to close, then it is still live and delicious to eat.
The best way to store your Mussels is to remove any excess liquid in their bag, pour them into a bowl and lay a wet tea towel over top. Live Mussels should last up to 4-days in the fridge.

Crayfish can be prepared in many ways, from complex recipes for those gifted with culinary skills or simple boiled and cooked in butter on the BBQ.
*We guarantee the freshness of all our Crayfish. All crayfish are dispatched in a live state and only removed from our holding tank shortly before courier collection. With the use of gel ice packs the Crayfish will remain fresh even in cases where they may arrive in a deceased state. Crayfish are weighed and priced in a LIVE/fresh state.
